Consignment | Private Orders

In addition to our representation of wines, spirits and craft beers through the LCBO, Terra Firma Brands also offers a consignment and private order program.

Consignment Program

The consignment program was started as a way for agents to import specialty products through the LCBO warehousing system.

These products are not vetted through the LCBO tender process and are sold by case lots only by agents to their customers.

The final retail price charged is exactly the same as it would be had it been purchased for its retail stores.

There is no price advantage – just a wider selection.

The product remains in the LCBO consignment warehouse and is released in case lots to the agents upon initiation of orders.

Payment is made to the supplier 30 days after the last case of a particular SKU has sold out.

Private Orders are prepared by agents for specific customers upon request. 

Private Order Process

While private orders still come through the LCBO, they provide additional opportunities for specialty items not available in retail and not represented in a consignment program.

Each supplier can have their own requirements so please contact us for details regarding your interest. 

However, this you need to know:

• A non refundable 25% deposit is required upon placing a private order.
• Process normally takes approx. 3-5 months.
• You will be notified when the product arrives in market.
• Balance is due upon arrival.
• Terra Firma Brands will deliver anywhere in the GTA.
• We will deliver outside of the GTA for an additional fee, depending on location.
