Hush Heath Lands Deal with LCBO
As PM Theresa May strengthens trade ties to Canada, Kent Vineyard Hush Heath Estate will send its sparkling wine to Canada after landing a significant deal with one of the world’s largest alcohol buyers.
Hush Heath has a firm place among England’s top wine producers – and the delightful Balfour 1503 Rosé offers a very approachable yet still refined English fizz experience.
Delicate rose petal pink with a fine sustained bead. Crisp and fresh with bright citrus, wild strawberry and dried herbs. Full of refined red berry fruit, pink grapefruit, with lively acidity, balanced with a touch of sweetness on the finish.
Blended for young, fresh, pink fruit dominated style predominately from Pinot Noir. Cool stainless steel fermentations ensure clean varietal fruit character and aromatic intensity. After secondary fermentation in bottle, each is stored for a minimum of 12 months.
2010 is proving to be a classic year for English sparkling wine. The long growing season allowed for the slow development of delicate flavours and a great balance of sugar and acidity at harvest.
