Attractive black raspberry aromas and flavours with some dark spice and pepper. This is an amazing wine for the money. Full-bodied yet smooth. Pair with grilled meats. 89/100 pts.
Tasting Notes
This Côtes du Rhône from France has a very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, ripe dried plum and cherry nose with some vanilla notes. It is a dry, medium bodied wine with dried red fruit flavours and a lingering, spicy, mineral-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
This wine is delightful with grilled meats, pasta with tomato sauce, hearty vegetable dishes and fine cheeses. Also pairs well with fish and seafood if lightly chilled.
