Vintage 2017 has begun
Spring begins in the Rhone Valley, Provence in early March
Domaine de Colline St. Jean Vacqueyras 2014 is a Côtes du Rhone Villages – and is Vacqueyras at its finest.
Lively aromas of ripe red and blue fruit, licorice and lavender are complemented by a suggestion of white pepper. Supple and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering juicy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavours and a subtle touch of spicecake. Shows very good depth as well as vivacity, this is Vacqueyras at its finest.
This wine is delightful with grilled meats, pasta with tomato sauce, hearty vegetable dishes and fine cheeses. Also pairs well with fish and seafood if lightly chilled.
Drink this beauty over the coming 5-6 yrs.

This Ontario couple has been a regular at the LCBO buying Charles Tort by the case... and enjoying it with the perfect Riedel wine glass.
The history of Charles Tort – from whom we get the delicious Old Vines Côtes du Rhône – is a fascinating tale of passion and love for winemaking in France.
Southern France & Mediterranean wines are praised by the LCBO
Mas de Daumas Gassac, the iconic winery of the Languedoc produces beautiful assemblage wines with pride and passion. So when Terra Firma was approached to participate in Uncork the Mediterranean it was quick decision to say 'yes'.
